Academy Eye Associates
Brief: Academy Eye Associates provide professional optometric eye care, including eye exams, eyeglasses, contact lenses, consultation for LASIK and other refractive surgery, and specialty vision care for young children and the visually impaired. The doctors wanted to remake their current text only site into a visually more appealing site that highlights their services and research. They asked for a site that was search engine friendly and provided ease of use.
Design: Using a central design to highlight the two focus areas of eyecare services and vision rehabilitation, a visual presentation with a more user friendly text was used to drive the flow and feel of the site to a comfortable and easily navigated experience. The page content was the focus for information about services and research. This site uses a standards based CSS driven design to gear toward usability and accessibility.
